After the enthusiasm caused by this competition will eventually dwindle, professionals will get to choose between returning to online games or lingering at live tables. Regardless of what they choose, it is worth mentioning the fact that key dates for the WPT have been announced and the first tournament will commence on July 3. Once again, London will be the gracious host for the opening event and as a result it is expected for thousands of players to book a flight to England’s capital.

There are a total of 20 tournament stages scheduled for 2014, with the venues being located all over the world which ensures diversity and keeps players wired. There are many miles to travel, but this is a good thing for players who spend way too much time in front of their computers competing solely over the Internet. This doesn’t mean that they can’t enjoy the best of both worlds, because all they need is a laptop and an Internet connection to play online while waiting for the next World Poker Tour for 2014 events.
